mymanjay I admit that the Knicks beating the Mavs by 34 at home is bad but I think that they played down to the competition and got caught. I still think that they can catch the Lakers with 15 or 16 games to go. That trade that they made was a trade that put them better than people may realize. Bynum is a weak link. mymanjay I think that Bynum is good but he is playing with Kobe, Gasol, Artest, Odom and Fisher. I do not think that he can handle the dogfight if everyone else is busy. Kobe bailed him out in the finals because he was able to roam on defense he can't do that with Jason Terry or Butler because they are too good and shoot to well. mymanjay Gasol played before when the Lakers were in Dallas and they lost even before the trade. I mean they have won 13 in a row and climbing. Kobe is good and the best closer in the game for the last 10 years but I think that Dallas possesses better firepower than people realize. Caron Butler and Deshawn Stevenson keeps the Lakers honest on the perimeter. But the biggest problem that I have with the lakers stoping Dallas is Brendan haywood. mymanjay I am ready to call it the mavs are going to end up passing the lakers for first and be in the finals. They are better after the trade than people are ready to give credit for. The thing to me is that they move the ball better than anyone in the west.
