I went parasailing at hilton head island, and Garret Temple was on the boat they took us on. So were his brothers, dad, and uncle. |

Agreed, but a good coach will not allow a great shooter to be smothered by a long bigger defender without making the defense pay. Curry is smart enough to figure things out.
Delonte is a really good player and a good comparison. But like you said Curry's J and his pedigree with give him much better opportunities to shine. |

Steph Curry is the younger version of Delonte West all over again, but with a much better jump shot , less slashing ability, and less defense. He's likable, so people hope that he will be a superstar. But Steph had huge problems in college when going up against long athletic defenders. Steph doesn't have the athletic ability to make it a mismatch when 6'8" NBA level athlete small forwards are guarding him. |

Steph Curry may be taller than Iverson but their standing reach are about the same. Iverson looks to have a much larger wingspan. Iverson has extremely long arms. The game of basketball is played with your arms and what's inside of your head, not the top of your head. So height is deceiving when you don't factor in arm length. NBA types already know this sort of information, that's why they measure arm length at the combine. |

As of June 1, 2009 anyone traveling to Cananda from any country needs a passport to enter their country.
So if he doesn't have a passport and the Toronto Raptors draft him, it would be a 6-8 week wait until they could bring him to the team facilities for the introductory press conference.
PLUS with the globalization of the game, it's getting more common to see NBA teams play exhibition games in Europe/China. You need a passport for that, unless you want to stay at home like a loser! |

He's 4 inches taller than AI and a pure shooter, whereas Iverson's game has been mostly inside the arc, lots of runners, trips to the line, scoring in the paint for his whole career.
Terrible comparison. |

How can you be like Nash but not a good passer? Steph Curry will never be a pass first pg. He's going to be like Iverson... a volume shooter playing the 2 but too small to guard his opponent. He's not the bonehead/athlete that young AI was but I think he'll remind you of the DEN version of AI his rook year. |

I wouldnt say a mature iverson...hes no where near as fast or athletic...I would say that he is goin to be a steve nash type player just not as good of a passer as nash. He will def be a good player if he goes to the right team. |
