1971 NBA Finals: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Baltimore Bullets

The 1971 NBA Finals was the played at the conclusion of the NBA's Silver Anniversary season of 1970-71. The Western Conference Champion Milwaukee Bucks who were born just three years earlier swept the Eastern Conference Champion Baltimore Bullets in four games. Baltimore had dethroned the 1969-70 NBA Champion New York Knicks to get to their only NBA Finals appearance (as a Baltimore based franchise). This would be the last time that both participants were playing in their first NBA Finals until the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat got together in the 2006 NBA Finals.

FrsBigeasy Like I said Charles was 6'5 & 255 LBS most of that Muscle by the way. I saw him back down 6'10-7'0 Guys in the Post & Drop Step them or Shoot Over them. Ariamaluum Charles was great on defense when the game was speed and he played against great players. However, he wasn't that good against guys who shot from the outside. Gus seemed to be better at that. 01/19/2010 - 07:22:42

Pedro4life09 We need another chance at both an NBA & NHL team in Baltimore. or have the Wizards and Capitals come up to 1st mariner arena and play some games during the preseason or regular season. and its great to have these videos that show what 1st Mariner Arena looked like in its hayday. I was 12 years old and living in Milwaukee and I love Kareen, Oscar, Johnny Mac, Greg Smith, Bob Dandridge, Bob Boozer, Len Chappell, Wayne Embry, Eddie Doucette and the rest ever since.
